Any personal information you share with me as you opt-in to my mail list or post a comment is kept strictly confidential between you and me (or someone with legal authorization to act on my behalf.) I don’t believe in selling or buying mail lists so in using this site, you can rest assured that your information will not be deliberately shared with other parties. And I will take every precaution that I can to keep your personal information from falling into the hands of people who waste their talents on concocting nefarious ways to steal from others.

Affiliate Disclosure (in plain English)

You and I both know that writing a blog is a very time-consuming job. But I would rather be sewing, drawing and writing than sitting in a cubicle, so let’s make the best of this arrangement.

I gotta get paid somehow for the time I spend hunting down info and fidgeting with widgets. And that means I put affiliate links in whenever I can. Not just any old links, mind you. I only link to companies and products that I really believe in. Seriously, I just can’t promote something if my heart isn’t in it.

So there! Some, but not all, of the links on this site will take you to other websites. If you go there and buy something supercool that you really need or love (or even if you’re a shopaholic and just need to exercise your bank account), then those affiliated sellers will throw a small pittance of a commission back my way to say thanks for the referral. It won’t cost you a thing, except the price of whatever you were going to buy anyway.

If you’re not willing to let the vendors help a writer feed her feline assistants, then still go ahead and use the site, but don’t click the links. If you’re going to buy stuff anyway, please use my affiliate links. My bratty little furbabies and I thank you.

And in case you forgot in the 142 seconds it took to read all my verbal vomit, I’m only promoting companies and products I love. Ok?
